I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The picture above is the place where I grew up, Piratininga. In 1996, I moved to San Diego. I recently moved to Hawaii to be closer to my family.

My interests include surfing, travel, and natural healing including: holistic nutrition, herbology, Ayurveda, and yoga.
I began surfing when I was 13 years old. My surfing adventures have taken me to Bali, Thailand, South Africa, and Hawaii. In the future, I hope to return to Bali and visit Australia.
In 2008, I developed sciatica due to a herniated disk. Yoga has become an important part of my rehabilitation, in combination with massage, acupuncture and western medical treatment. Currently, I prefer the Viniyoga and Gentle yoga styles.
